The investment management arm of US-based Prudential Financial has announced the appointment of a Southeast Asia head.
PGIM Investments has appointed Brenda Leow as head of Southeast Asia, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, she reports to head of Asia Jessica Jones. In the role, Leow will be responsible for broadening and deepening the firm’s client network in the region, expanding partnerships with private banks, family offices, wealth managers and global financial institutions.
Leow has more than 20 years of asset management experience across sales and distribution, marketing as well as product development. She was most recently head of business management at SBI Digital Markets. Prior to that, she also worked at Natixis Investment Managers, Fullerton Fund Management, Deutsche Asset Management and SG Asset Management.
Regional Presence
PGIM has had an institutional presence in Asia for nearly 30 years before expanding into into the region’s high net worth intermediary channel in 2021. It has been building and growing partnerships with financial intermediaries, offering capabilities across public fixed income, global equities, quantitative solutions, real estate and other private alternatives.
