A global law firm focused on the finance, technology and infrastructure sectors added to its corporate team in North Asia.

Orrick announced that Mark Lehmkuhler has joined the firm as a partner in the M&A and Private Equity Group, resident in the Hong Kong office. He becomes the fifth partner to join Orrick’s global M&A practice since last June.

Lehmkuhler focuses on M&A and private equity transactions, debt restructuring and other complex cross-border transactions. 

Groundbreaking Transactions

He previously practiced in Asia for nearly two decades with Davis Polk, where he was a partner. 

While there he led the firm’s corporate team on a number of high-profile and groundbreaking transactions including CITIC Capital’s $890 million going-private buyout of AsiaInfo-Linkage, and DLF Limited’s sale of the Aman luxury resorts chain.
