New York-based BNY has appointed a head of treasury services for Asia Pacific.

BNY has appointed Fabian Khoshbakht as head of treasury services for Asia Pacific, according to a statement, based in Singapore. He will take on the new role in addition to his existing responsibilities as treasury services head of client insight and innovation.

Khoshbakht has over 25 years of treasury services experience in Australia, Singapore and the US. He first joined BNY in 2022.

Recent Tie-Ups

The appointment follows the recent announcement of tie-ups with Mizuho Bank for trade services and Commonwealth Bank of Australia for near real-time cross-border payments.
