Great American Insurance has boosted its Singapore unit with the hire of a trio of executives.
In a press release issued through its parent company, the Ohio based firm said Larry Kwok has been appointed director for marine in the North Asia market. Kwok will undertake strategic management of marine underwriting and portfolio management.
As a result of the move Linda Tan will now serve as director for marine and take on strategic management of marine underwriting across Asia.
Tan will add her more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with practical expertise in underwriting, servicing, broking, and marketing of marine and non-marine insurance products to the role.
Donovan Lam, with over 27 years of extensive experience in marine claims, has been appointed as the senior manager for marine and casualty claims. In this role, he will oversee the claims management of all marine and casualty classes of business.
