Collas Crill has added to its presence in the region with the establishment of a North Asian office.

Following its expansion into BVI, offshore law firm Collas Crill has opened a representative office in Hong Kong and appointed Simon Fraser, also based in Hong Kong, as a consultant to the firm.

Fraser has more than 20 years experience as a solicitor in England and Wales and Hong Kong (currently non-practising in both jurisdictions) and more than 14 years of fiduciary experience at senior level with two offshore trust companies.

He was a partner at Fairbairn Catley Low & Kong in Hong Kong and worked for over nine years with Ogier Fiduciary Services in the U.K. and Jersey where he was a director.

Huge Growth

The firm currently has offices in BVI, Cayman, Guernsey, Jersey, London and Singapore, and is looking to expand its network in Asia as it continues to grow its global offering.

Stephen Adams, Managing Partner of the Singapore office, will have responsibility for Hong Kong, working with Fraser to extend the firm's reach in Asia.

«We are seeing a huge amount of growth in our business sourced from Hong Kong and it's important that we take the opportunity to build on that success.» said Adams.
