In March a new CEO will take over at PineBridge for Asia Pacific ex-Japan. He will be responsible for developing the company’s growth and strategy in the region across both institutional and intermediary channels.

U.S. asset manager PineBridge Investments has appointed Anthony Fasso as chief executive officer (CEO) for Asia Pacific, succeeding Rajeev Mittal who left in December to join Fidelity International as managing director for the Asia Pacific region ex-Japan, the company said in a statement.

Fasso will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s growth and distribution strategy in the region across both institutional and intermediary channels. The appointment is effective March 11. He will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Greg Ehret, the company’s CEO.

Fasso was formerly the CEO of AMP Capital Investors’ international business. PineBridge Investments managed $89.6 billion of global asset classes as of December 2018.
