The firm's latest hire expands its litigation, insolvency and restructuring practice in Singapore, and builds on its rapidly growing Asia presence.
Carey Olsen has added associate Keng Huang Goh to its Singapore litigation team, the firm said in a statement this week.
Goh has a broad range of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on shareholder-related disputes, insolvency and restructuring, as well as general corporate disputes. He joins from Singapore law firm Shook Lin & Bok, where he was a senior associate. During his time there, he was seconded to Standard Chartered Bank. He was previously an associate at Drew & Napier.
«[Goh's] arrival is a clear indicator of the growth we are experiencing for our services in the region,» partner James Noble said in the statement.
Rapid Asia Expansion
Goh's hire follows the November 2019 addition of Noble from rival Harneys, to lead the development of Carey Olsen's litigation, insolvency and restructuring offering in Asia. The same month, it further grew its Singapore litigation team with the hire of associate Amelia Tan.
It also launched a corporate practice in Hong Kong in June, appointing Cayman Islands and BVI law specialist Michael Padarin as a corporate partner
