BlackRock has announced the appointment of a general manager for its mainland China joint venture.
Jim Zhang has been named general manager of BlackRock CCB Wealth Management, according to a statement, subject to regulatory approval. Zhang has been part of the China leadership team for the past eight years, most recently leading management operations to support onshore businesses and as chief liaison to China Construction Bank.

Our domestic business is helmed by some of the finest leaders in the industry, bringing deep local market insight and industry expertise to serve our clients,» said BlackRock head of Asia Pacific Susan Chan.
Regional Reshuffle
The announcement follows a number of recent appointments to the APAC leadership team including Chan as the regional head and Hua Fan as head of China. Andrew Landman and Hiroyuki Shimizu were also named as deputy heads of APAC.
