Credit Suisse CEO Tidjane Thiam cut a rug at a New York gala honoring the Swiss bank's philanthropic work.
His job is 24/7 but he obviously knows how to relax as well: Credit Suisse CEO Tidjane Thiam was coaxed onto the stage at a benefit event for Room to Read, a charitable organization which advocates for children's literacy and girls' education in Asia and Africa.
He joined rapper and actor Wycleaf Jean and 11-year-old DJ Switch on stage after being lauded for Credit Suisse's 14-year partnership with Room to Read. U.S. author and actress Amber Tambly also took home an award at the event, which collected $3.2 million for the charity.
