Prudential-TMB Partnership

The British insurer signed a long-term partnership with TMB Bank last month to leverage the former’s life, health and savings solution and the latter’s 9 million-strong network of customers. It also has invested in other common interests such as joint ventures TMBAM Eastspring and Thanachart Fund Eastspring.

«Our partnership with TMB is strategically important to our business,» said Nacandrou. «It is part of our significant investments to broaden further our footprint and presence in Thailand, the second-largest life insurance market and the largest mutual fund market in ASEAN.»

Prudential currently owns 12 percent of Thailand’s mutual fund market, the statement added.
