Crédit Agricole's private banking arm has added a trio from Deutsche Bank to its Hong Kong branch with a focus on the Greater China market.
Willie Chue, managing director, Greater China market head; Steven Wong, managing director, senior relationship manager; and Ada Zhou, director, relationship manager, join Indosuez Wealth Management to serve clients in the Greater China markets, according to a statement from the bank.
Chue brings over two decades of experience in the banking and financial industry in the U.S., Taiwan and Hong Kong, at firms like Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan. He will be responsible for enhancing Indosuez's core functional and economic efficiency and driving its growth strategy in Greater China, and reports to Olivier Livenais, chief executive of Indosuez Hong Kong.
Wong brings more than 20 years of experience in senior roles at global financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, UBS and Societe Generale. Zhou brings spent a decade of industry experience gained at Deutsche Bank, Bank of China (Hong Kong), UBS and J.P. Morgan. They both report to Chue.

«Greater China is an important market for Indosuez — China’s economy picked up steam in the fourth quarter of 2020 and is poised to expand further this year,» Livenais said.
The firm has been busy deepening its talent pool to serve this market, appointing Davis Hall as Asia head of capital markets and asset class specialists Madeline Cheng and Jackson Ho in September 2020, followed by Michael van Ommeren as its Hong Kong chief operating officer in November 2020.
As of 31 December 2020, Indosuez had 128 billion euros ($155.77 billion) in assets under management.
