Global insurance firm Ed has appointed a new chairman of Asia based in Singapore.
Christina Ong joins Ed Asia as its chairman based in the city-state, according to a statement, effective immediately.
Ong has over 40 years of industry experience across Asia and Europe providing bespoke insurance solutions to various clients included listed firms and SMEs. Prior to joining Ed, she was most recently with Howden Insurance Brokers Singapore where she as a managing director.
«We are committed to expanding and developing our offering in dynamic markets,» said Ed’s APAC and MENA chief executive Stephen Britten, commenting on the new hire and expansion in the region.
