The London-headquartered firm announced on Friday three new senior appointments within its Asia-Pacific business.
Capco is advancing its strategic growth plans in Asia with the hire of partner John McBain, partner and Southeast Asia digital and technology lead Thomas Schaumburg.
Based in Hong Kong, McBain has over 30 years’ experience in banking, capital markets and consulting in senior roles spanning areas that include strategy, operations, M&A, and transformation programs. He joins Capco after 10 years at Deloitte leading consulting and key client relationship across APAC, and has held roles at Standard Chartered, ANZ, and IBM.
Schaumburg, who is based in Singapore, has over 30 years’ international experience in consulting and technology, advising senior executives on digital transformation, large technology programs, and data management initiatives. He joins from KPMG in France, where he led the firm's IT strategy practice.
ESG Boost
Capco is also bringing on board carbon, climate and ESG specialist Shelley Zhou as its APAC ESG lead. She has over 15 years’ experience in corporate sustainability, environmental and carbon management consultancy, new energy and biotechnology. She will continue to hold her role as an adjunct associate professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
