Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking expands in Asia Pacific with the hire of a head of aviation finance and health care industry group for the region. 

Charles Zhou joins Natixis CIB as its head of aviation finance for Asia Pacific, according to a statement, effective March 1. 

Based in Singapore, Zhou reports to global head of aviation finance Jean Chedeville and APAC head of real assets and global trade Emmanuel Gillet-Lagarde.

Zhou has 15 years of experience in the banking and aviation industry across China, Singapore, Ireland, and Hong. He was most recently the aviation finance executive director of Greater China and North Asia at Standard Chartered where he was also the chairman and general manager of its China aircraft operating lease platform Pembroke Aircraft Leasing (Tianjin) Co Ltd.

Healthcare Industry Group

Also joining the French investment bank is Nicholas Low as its APAC head of healthcare industry group, effective March 14. 

Low will also be based in Singapore and report to head Bertrand Guiot, Southeast Asia head of real assets & investment banking and APAC head of infrastructure funds coverage as well as Francis Ansvananda, Southeast Asia head of coverage.

Low has more than 13 years of experience, beginning with pharmaceutical firm Ipsen’s corporate business development team in London before moving on to the financial sector and working for the likes of Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Nomura. He was most recently a healthcare private equity investing professional at Singapore-based Quadria Capital.
