The asset management arm of French financial group Natixis has appointed a new president for its Japan unit.
Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) has appointed Shinji Inoue as president and representative director for its Japan unit, according to a statement.
Based in Tokyo, Inoue will report to head of Asia Pacific Fabrice Chemouny.
Inoue has 30 years of experience in the asset management and financial industry, having worked at Natixis IM in Japan since 2008 as head of investment management. Previously, he also worked at PIMCO Japan and Nippon Life Insurance.
Kinji Kato
Inoue succeeds Kinji Kato who has been president and representative director for Natixis IM Japan since 2014.
Kato will become honorary chairman at Natixis IM Japan, where he spent 25 years, and will continue to work closely with Inoue on strategic initiatives and partnerships with large institutions.
