French asset manager Amundi has appointed a managing director and head of institutional business for North Asia.
Alfred Lee has been named managing director and North Asia ex-China head of institutional business, according to a statement
In his new role, Lee is responsible for institutional burins development in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong across all the investment strategies.
Lee joined Amundi in 2018 as the head of institutional business for Hong Kong and Macau. Previously, he also worked at Pinebridge and Blackrock.
As of the end of March this year, Amundi has 100 million clients across the retail, institutional and corporate market, It houses 5,3000 employees in 35 countries and has more than €2.0 trillion ($2.15 trillion) of assets.
