Japan’s Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group has announced the appointment of two new investment banking hires in Singapore.
Randy Loo joins MUFG as its Singapore head of global corporate banking, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, Loo reports to APAC head of global corporate and investment banking Richard Yorke.
Loo has nearly 30 years of corporate and investment banking experience. He began his career at Bank of America in 1994 where he led the growth of its corporate banking franchise in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Leveraged Finance
In addition, the bank appointed Frik Dreyer as head of leveraged and acquisition finance in APAC. He is also based in Singapore and reports to APAC head of investment banking Tatsuya Konishi.
Dreyer has over 20 years of corporate finance experience across Johannesburg, New York, Sydney and Singapore. He spent the last 16 years with ANZ, last as its head of corporate finance for South and Southeast Asia, overseeing front line syndication, project, export, asset and leveraged finance.
