Singapore-based multi-family office Farro Capital has appointed a 27-year financial veteran as a senior advisor to strengthen its corporate and investment banking capabilities.
Vincent Valladares joins Farro Capital as a senior advisor, according to a statement, effective immediately. In this role, Valladares will strengthen the firm's corporate and investment banking expertise for ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients by assisting with coverage and execution support for banking, treasury, risk management and corporate finance requirements.
Valladares has more than 27 years of financial services experience across commercial and private banking. Previously, he was an executive director at the Bank of Singapore, head of commercial banking at RBL Bank and Middle East head of commercial banking at Citibank.
Growth Plans
Following its soft launch at the end of 2022, Farro has accumulated more than $1 billion in assets under management from clients in 12 markets, including billionaires, family offices and unicorn founders. Moving forward, the firm plans to add another 50 families in the next 18 to 24 months while expanding its team to 20 staff by the end of 2023.
«We are confident that [Valladares'] expansive network across key financial markets, along with his strong background in the banking sector, will support Farro Capital as we execute on our aggressive growth strategy and commitment to protecting and growing our clients’ wealth,» said co-founder and CEO Hemant Tucker.
