Singapore-based multi-family office Farro Capital has expanded with three new hires, including a former EFG banker.
Manoj Samtani joins Farro Capital as an executive director, according to a statement, reporting to CEO and co-founder Hemant Tucker.
Samtani has 21 years of private banking and fund management experience, most recently at EFG as executive director for the global South Asia market. Previously, he also worked at Bank of Singapore and Kotak Mahindra.
Compliance and Client Relations
Samtani’s appointment follows other recent hires in the past few months including Zakiah Sulaiman as director of compliance and Ivy Chen as director of client relations. Prior to joining Farro Capital, Sulaiman worked at UBP and Bank of Singapore. Chen also previously worked at Bank of Singapore, alongside EY.
In March, Farro Capital said it had reached $1 billion in assets under management after the multi-family office was just founded in October 2022. At the time, it also said that it would aim to add another 50 families with a total of $1.5 billion in assets within the next 18 to 24 months. To support such ambitions it will expand to 20 staff by end-2023.
