Paris-based BNP Paribas has announced the appointment of a new head of wealth management for the Taiwan market.
BNP Paribas appoints Kate Lin as head of wealth management Taiwan, according to a statement, reporting to Asia wealth management CEO Arnaud Tellier and Taiwan CEO Manon Breuvart. In the role, Lin will lead BNP Paribas’ onshore wealth management teams in Taiwan and drive its growth ambitions in the market.
Lin has 25 years of banking experience, including seven years at Standard Chartered as its Taiwan head of consumer, private and business banking. Previously, she was a Taiwan sales & distribution director at Citibank, where she began her career.
Lin succeeds Tina Hsieh, who will retire at the end of October.
