Hong Kong-based insurer AIA has announced the appointment of top executives to oversee marketing and technology in Singapore.
AIA Singapore appoints Irma Hadikusuma as chief marketing and proposition officer, according to a statement, effective December 1. She has 20 years of insurance experience and is currently the firm’s chief product proposition officer.
Previously, she held leadership roles across actuarial pricing, valuation, digital marketing, customer segmentation and business development.
The insurer’s Singapore unit also named Peter Lee as chief technology officer. Lee has more than 30 years of insurance and finance experience. He was most recently working at AXA in Malaysia as Asian and African markets general manager, group operations. Before that, he also worked at New York Life, Zurich Insurance, MetLife Insurance and Accenture.
Meanwhile, AIA Singapore’s current chief customer and digital officer Melita Teo will assume the role of CEO designate at AIA Philippines, effective December 1. Teo has worked at AIA Singapore for over 22 years.
