London-headquartered HSBC has reportedly hired a former UBS private banker who focuses on the non-resident Indian client segment.
HSBC appoints Gautam Anand as global coordinator for global India, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe, according to a «Bloomberg» report citing an internal memo, effective December 1.
Anand was most recently working at UBS, where he joined in January before leaving in August in the midst of a government-brokered takeover. Prior to that, he worked at Credit Suisse for nearly a decade, last as a team head for non-resident Indians (NRI).
