Amsterdam-headquartered ING has appointed a 25-year veteran as its head of corporate finance for Asia Pacific.
ING has appointed Gautam Saxena as head of corporate finance for APAC, according to a statement. He will be responsible for driving ING’s corporate finance strategy across 11 markets in the region, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam. In the role, Saxena reports to global head of corporate finance Rob Van Veldhuizen.
Saxena has 25 years of industry experience and he previously worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as the co-head of telecom, media and technology investment banking for APAC. Prior to that, he also held investment banking roles at HSBC, ABN AMRO and Lazard.
