The asset management unit of Pictet has hired a portfolio manager for its multi-asset team in Hong Kong.
Pictet Asset Management has appointed Lorraine Kuo as senior investment manager in the multi-asset team in Hong Kong, according to a statement. In the role, she will report to Andy Wong, head of multi asset Hong Kong.
Kuo will work closely with the investment team in Hong Kong to manage the Swiss firm's multi-asset funds, including a Luxembourg-domiciled high-conviction theme-based multi-asset strategy and a Hong Kong-domiciled global multi-asset income strategy.
20-Year Veteran
Kuo has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry, most recently as the head of private equity at Cypress Capital Hong Kong, a firm founded in 2013 that focuses on private credit, private equity, and public equity, serving high net worth individuals, family offices and public companies from Greater China. Prior to that, she also worked at Invesco, Deutsche Bank and Manulife Asset Management.
«We are pleased to welcome Lorraine to the team,» commented Wong. «She brings a wealth of investment expertise and knowledge in global sectors. Her extensive experience in both sell-side and buy-side investment and research will help further our capability in understanding and identifying global themes and ideas. These precision building blocks are key to our Multi Asset investment approach.»
