Insurer Prudential has hired a Citi private banker as its new chief executive officer for Singapore.
Prudential has appointed Chan San San as Singapore CEO, according to a statement, subject to regulatory approval. She is expected to take on the new role in September and succeed Dennis Tan who will remain with the firm in his other existing role as a managing director of a strategic business group covering Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Chan has over 20 years of experience across consumer wealth and private banking at Citi, most recently as managing director and global market manager at Citi Private Bank. Previously, she served private banking clients in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Prudential has operated in Singapore for more than 93 years, serving over a million policyholders, including affluent and high net worth individuals.
