A new Asia ex-Japan head of investment banking has been reportedly named at Nomura.
Nomura has appointed Jwalant Nanavati as Asia ex-Japan head of investment banking, according to a «Finance Asia» report citing an internal memo, replacing Patrick Kwan who will leave the firm after more than two years in the role. Nanavati will retain his existing role as head of investment banking in Southeast Asia.
Singapore-based Nanavati will partner with fellow co-heads Andrew Macgonigal and Akihiro Koseki. Macgonigal will also retain his role as head of investment banking and CEO for Australia.
Nanavati and Macgonigal will report functionally to international head of investment banking Patrice Maffre and regionally to APAC CEO Kenji Teshima.
