Dubai-based Emirates NBD has named a new head of wealth management for Singapore.
Emirates NBD has appointed Sameer Deshpande as head of wealth management Singapore, according to a LinkedIn post. In the role, he will be responsible for the Dubai government-owned bank’s wealth business in the city-state as well as Asia.
Deshpande has nearly three decades of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Emirates NBD, he worked at Citi for 19 years, last as global head of investment esales, overseeing digital solutions globally for the US bank’s wealth management unit.
