The corporate and investment banking arm of Crédit Agricole has appointed a regional head of international trade and transaction banking based in Singapore.

Crédit Agricole CIB has appointed Christophe Crétot as head of international trade & transaction banking for Asia Pacific, according to a statement, effective March 10. Based in Singapore, he reports to Jean-François Deroche, senior regional officer for APAC and Yves-Marie Gayet, global head of international trade & transaction banking.

Crétot’s stint with Crédit Agricole Group began with Indosuez Wealth Management's Luxembourg unit as a fund manager in 1996. He was most recently head of corporate & leveraged finance APAC, a role held since 2022.

In his latest role, Crétot succeeds Laurent Proutière who has become CEO Asia for Indosuez Wealth Management.
