Global real estate services and investment firm CBRE have appointed David Fogarty to lead its Singapore Asset Services business. Mr Fogarty is currently Regional Director of Asset Services, Pacific at CBRE.
In this newly created role Mr Fogarty will assume twin titles of Managing Director, Asset Services, Singapore, and Regional Client Director, Asia Pacific. In addition to taking on overall responsibility for the Singapore Asset Services business he will also lead client solutions for all Singapore-domiciled clients across the APAC region. He will assume both positions on January 1, 2016.
Mr Fogarty will report in to Pauline Goh, CBRE’s CEO of Singapore & Southeast Asia on domestic matters and regionally to Andy Nicholson, Executive Managing Director Asset Services APAC, as part of CBRE’s matrix structure.
Mr Nicholson commented, “David has been a strong and influential contributor in the Pacific Asset Services business, having overseen substantial growth since 2011. We have no doubt that he is the right person to help us cement our position as number one in Singapore as we continue to strive to provide world-class services to our clients across APAC. In particular, David will help further modernize operations and expand our integrated service offerings to clients.”
“The appointment of David to an expanded role is also further evidence of CBRE’s global and regional focus on developing top talent and facilitating moves across the business,” Mr Nicholson added.
The Asset Services business in Singapore has developed significantly under Executive Director Tay It Tuan to become the domestic market leader. Mr Tay will remain in his current role working in partnership with Mr Fogarty, with the new leadership structure enabling him to focus on local client solutions and client relationships.
