Swiss insurer Zurich has appointed a new chief underwriter for commercial insurance policies. She previously led all speciality insurance in Asia for a major U.S. player.
Sierra Signorelli will initially be based in the U.S. before relocating to Zurich, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia.
She joins Zurich from AIG, where she was the global head of network partner practice. Prior to that, she held a number of senior roles in the American insurer's specialty insurance arm, including underwriting head and leading all specialty business across Asia Pacific.
