LinkedIn has unveiled its latest Power Profiles list in Singapore with two high profile bank chief executives battling it out on the social site as well as in the markets.
LinkedIn Power Profiles showcase the online influence of business leaders and other professionals in the areas of Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Marketing and Advertising, and Travel and Lifestyle.
Power Profiles are experts in their field and have established themselves as key opinion leaders in the areas of specialisation. They have also garnered a strong following from LinkedIn’s professional community in the past year.
The CEO's
Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC) Group CEO, Samuel Tsien, is one of the new entrants to this annual list.
His closest rival in the Asian banking scene is a social media rival now too as DBS Group CEO Piyush Gupta also features in the top echelons.
It is not clear if they follow each other, it would be interesting to know.
The hyperbole around financial technology has also elevated some of fintechs best known names into the top ranks on LinkedIn
Neal Cross Chief Innovation Officer at DBS Bank and Sopnendu Mohanty Chief Fintech Officer Monetary Authority of Singapore also attracting a substantial following.
