Manulife has promoted a long-time finance and risk executive in its Hong Kong arm.
The Canadian insurer and wealth planner named Rockson Leung as its finance chief in Hong Kong.
The Australian executive will be responsible for finance-related functions such as reporting, control, capital management, asset liability and treasury as well as run office-support.
China Role
Leung, a Macquarie graduate and actuary who has been with Manulife since 2010, was previously the deputy finance chief, and added a risk role three years ago.
Previously, he ran risk for ING in Asia and finance in China as well as a deputy head and finance chief for Bank of China's life insurance company.
