Credit Suisse’s asset management division has divested an ultra-fast currency exchange platform. The transaction is seen as a major success for a unit focusing on fintech financing.

Next Investors is a unit within the asset management division of Credit Suisse focusing on the development and financing of technology and services companies. The heads of the unit are Alan Freudenstein and Greg Grimaldi.

Next Investors was one of the founding stakeholders of Fastmatch, an ultra-fast trading platform for currency transactions. The Swiss bank has now completed the sale of Fastmatch to Euronext, based in Amsterdam, after receiving regulatory approval for the transaction, the company said in a statement.

The companies didn’t say how much Euronext paid for Fastmatch.
