Standard Chartered Private Bank appointed a new managing director to the Greater China and North Asia business.

Following the recruitment of several senior bankers Standard Chartered Private Bank (SCPB) has now named another experienced wealth manager to the firms growing Greater China and North Asian division.

Michelle Ho joins SCPB as managing director, Greater China and North Asia. In this role, she will be based in Singapore, and report to Teddy Kwong, market head, Greater China and North Asia and Andrew Ho, market head, South & South East Asia, the bank said in a statement.

Growing Wealth in Greater China

Ho, with 25 years of banking experience, has been focused on private banking in the North Asia region for the past 18 years. Prior to joining SCPB she held leadership roles in DBS Private Bank, and was team head at both HSBC Private Bank and Barclays. She was most recently managing director, team leader at Bank of Singapore.

Jack Wu and Pauline Ko joined the bank in the capacity of managing directors, market heads based in Hong Kong. Both report to Vivian Chan, regional head of private banking in Greater China and North Asia.
