BNY Mellon appointed a new head of Relationship Management for Depositary Receipts in Asia-Pacific.

Taking up the position is Veronica Sheung, she will report to Frank Giglio, head of Asia-Pacific Depositary Receipts at BNY Mellon, and be based in the firm's Hong Kong office.

Prior to BNY Mellon, Sheung was at Deutsche Bank where she was head of Client Management, Asia Pacific for the bank’s Depositary Receipts (DRs’) business. She will be responsible for building deeper relationships with BNY Mellon’s growing list of clients in the region.

The appointment is part of BNY Mellon’s strategy to strengthen DRs’ client service and support capabilities as well as new business development efforts across the region the company said in a press release.
