JLL announced leadership changes to its South Korea business, reinforcing its commitment to a key growth market.

Chae Hun Chang, currently JLL’s South Korea head of Property and Asset Management, and also a part of JLL’s Capital Markets team, will step up to the country head role, effective 1 January 2018, the real estate firm said in a press release.

Chang has over 23 years’ experience in the real estate sector both in South Korea and globally. Since joining the firm in 2000, he has held a range of increasingly senior roles with both JLL and LaSalle Investment Management, the firm’s independent subsidiary that focuses on real estate investment management.

His tenure with JLL includes a four-year stint in the firm’s New York business before returning to Seoul. Chang succeeds Steven Craig who, after seven years as Country Head, will step away from day-to-day firm management to focus fully on his other role in leading JLL’s South Korea Capital Markets business.
