A Swiss tech firm and a Malaysian company are joining forces on information technology projects – including looking into blockchain.
Swiss-based Venaco Group and Cheng & Co, a Southeast Asian accounting and outsourcing services firm in Kuala Lumpur, entered a strategic partnership for business-to-business and IT projects, according to a statement on Friday.
Under the agreement, Venaco will collaborate with Cheng to provide strategic business consulting and transformation services. Both parties also mutually agreed to explore blockchain technology. Financial terms of the tie-up weren't disclosed.
With the adoption of SophiaTX, Venaco’s blockchain for business solution, which is poised to launch in July, the both firms want to accelerate the business growth.
