The Asia edition of the leading fintech and payments event has been rescheduled to August this year, owing to concerns over the Covid-2019 virus.
Money 20/20 Asia, which was set to take place on 24–26 March 2020 at Marina Bay Sands, will now take place from 25–27 August 2020, organizers announced in a statement posted on the event website.
«The safety of our valued partners is our first priority and in light of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak this decision has been made following guidance from Marina Bay Sands and Singaporean authorities,» the statement said.
Keynote speakers for this year's event include Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid (co-founder & president, Bukalapak), broadcast journalist Naga Munchetty, Charlie Clark (trend expert, APAC, WGSN), Douglas Feagin (president of international business, Ant Financial Services), Sopnendu Mohanty (chief fintech officer, Monetary Authority of Singapore), Zafrul Aziz (group CEO, CIMB), Pierre Poignant (group CEO Lazada Group), and Dr. Robert Sutor (VP, IBM Quantum Ecosystem Development).
