The senior banking executive joins the independent asset manager after more than three decades with the French firm, including more than 10 years in Southeast Asia.
SingAlliance is strengthening its wealth management capabilities with the hire of Luc Cardyn as a senior adviser at its Singapore office.
Cardyn was most recently Indonesia CEO for BNP Paribas since 2015. Before that, he was the firm's country head, Vietnam, leading the bank's activities in Ho Chi Minh City since 2008, and was its global head of emerging markets bond syndication for more than a decade.
In his new role, Cardyn will help ultra-high net worth clients structure their wealth, the firm announced in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday.
Hire in Geneva
SingAlliance was founded in Singapore in 2011 by Thierry Beck, the firm's CEO and executive director. In 2017, it opened an office in Geneva, Switzerland.
Earlier this month, SingAlliance added Bruno Desgardins to its investment committee. Based in Geneva, he will help the firm develop its asset and wealth management activities. He was formerly on the executive management of Geneva private bank Banque Eric Sturdza.
