The Paris-based asset manager has created a new role to drive the firm's sustainable investing push in South Asia.
Amundi, Europe's largest asset manager, has appointed of Sylvia Chen as senior sustainable officer with effect from February 1, 2021, according to a statement on Wednesday.
Chen previously worked at BNP Paribas and Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC), and brings experiences in the debt capital markets origination and issuance space, including ESG and green bonds.
Based in Singapore, Chen will represent the company’s ESG expertise and work with financial analysts and fund managers to better integrate ESG in their investment decisions and processes. She reports to Eric Bramoullé, CEO South Asia.
