Standard Chartered announces a successor to its India head of wealth management Samrat Khosla.
Saurabh Jain has been named head of wealth management for Standard Chartered Bank, India, according to a statement, succeeding former head Samrat Khosla who will move on to a new role within the bank.
In his new role, Jain will report to Kusal Roy, head of consumer, private and business banking India, and Eugene Puar, head of wealth management ASEAN, South Asia, and Singapore.
Jain has over 20 years of experience in wealth management, private banking and retail banking product and distribution. He joined Standard Chartered Securities (India) Ltd as its chief executive in October 2019 before becoming head of deposit products and client acquisition with Standard Chartered Bank, India. Previously, he also worked at Citibank India and HDFC Bank.
