A London judge is allowing Credit Suisse to take legal action against Japanese investment company Softbank related to Greensill.
Credit Suisse finally got some good news, and can now proceed with a lawsuit against Japanese investment company Softbank over Greensill funds in London, «Bloomberg» reported on Wednesday evening.
The lawsuit is likely to involve claims of around $440 million, which the Greensill company is asserting against US construction firm Katerra. Softbank is one of the main investors in the construction company, which has since deposited its balance sheet. Credit Suisse is accusing Softbank of withdrawing money from Greensill knowing it was in trouble.
Credit Suisse Asset Management continues to pursue all avenues to recover money for investors in the supply chain finance funds, a spokesman told reporters Wednesday evening.
