Troubled Swiss lender Credit Suisse will go ahead with its Hong Kong-based investment conference with some revisions to the agenda, including the host of the event.
Credit Suisse’s 26th Asian Investment Conference will continue to run as scheduled from March 21 to March 23 this week, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed in an inquiry by finews.asia, despite the latest developments following the bank's acquisition by UBS.
There will be some changes to the agenda including the removal of chairman Axel Lehmann and CEO Ulrich Koerner as speakers, as both will not be in Hong Kong for the event. The conference will instead be hosted by global head of equities Neil Hosie.
The event is also now exclusive to clients and no longer open to media.
