LA-headquartered Capital Group has hired a former UBS Asset Management executive to oversee institutional clients in Asia.
Capital Group appoints Benno Klingenberg-Timm as head of institutional for the Europe and Asia client group (EACG), according to a statement, effective immediately. In the role, he joins the EACG management committee as a member and reports to Guy Henriques, president of EACG.
Klingenberg-Timm was formerly at UBS where he worked for over two decades in Singapore and Zurich. He was most recently at the Swiss firm's asset management arm as head of institutional for Asia Pacific and previously held other senior roles including head of global sovereign markets, APAC as well as managing director for Middle East and sovereign clients.
