After inheriting the legacy from the now-defunct Credit Suisse, UBS will commence its own inaugural edition of the Asian Investment Conference.

From May 27 to 31 this week, UBS will host its Asian Investment Conference (AIC) in Hong Kong with a two-day conference on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Four Seasons Hotel. The event is expected to attract over 2,000 global institutional investors and ultra-high net worth individuals as well as top executives and entrepreneurs from 300 companies.

This year, AIC's agenda includes 100 speakers and 50 panel discussions, covering various investment topics with discussions on inflation, policy, growth and reform. There will also be coverage of non-investment themes such as generative AI, future cities, corporate governance, impact economy, succession and more.

CS Legacy

As part of the takeover of Credit Suisse, UBS will inherit a 27-year legacy of the AIC. Last year, Credit Suisse’s 26th and final edition of the AIC saw the attendance of 1,600 investors and representatives from over 200 companies.

«The AIC has earned a reputation for providing cutting-edge insight into what is next for investors in the region, as well as an outstanding networking opportunity. UBS will leverage the AIC platform to craft a new future for this edgy platform,» said the Swiss bank’s APAC president Edmund Koh.
