The 27th Asian Investment Conference hosted by UBS is underway. The enlarged Swiss bank shared some of the top speakers that will be featured at the event.
UBS has kicked off its Asian Investment Conference (AIC) which will last from May 27 to 31. In a media release, it unveiled some of the top speakers that will be featured in the event.
Distinguished headline speakers include ex-US Secretary of State John Kerry; 2018 Nobel Memorial Prize winner in Economics Professor Paul Romer; political analyst and Cook Political Report founder Charlie Cook; Middle East Institute chair of the National University of Singapore Bilahari Kausikan; Georgetown University professor Dennis Wilder; and Kingston University professor Alex Hill.

AIC will also include topics about generative artificial intelligence and its impact on economies, policy and society.
Some notable speakers on this subject include Megan J. Smith, shift7 founder, ex-US chief technology officer and assistant to President Barack Obama; Stanford University consulting professor of computer science Bill MacCartney; Currenxie CEO Riccardo Capelvenere; Bairong Inc founder and CEO Shaofeng Zhang; Teamcamp managing diretor and chief AI officer Alex Ermolaev; as well as Amkor Technology CEO Giel Rutten.
Naturally, speakers were also invited from Hong Kong, where the first edition of the AIC was held in 1998. They include Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee; Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Christopher Hui; and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing CEO Bonnie Chan.
