OCBC’s private banking arm has expanded with new hires focused on the Southeast Asia and non-resident Indian markets.
Bank of Singapore has hired Billy Wendy Kusnadi as a team head focusing on Southeast Asia clients, particularly in Singapore and Indonesia, according to a statement. Kusnadi previously worked at Credit Suisse for eight years after stints at Standard Chartered and Citi.
The Singaporean private bank also hired Joseph Sim as a senior relationship manager who will focus on ultra-high net worth clients in Indonesia. Sim also joins from Credit Suisse where he worked for nearly 29 years.
Non-Resident Indian Market
In addition, Balaji Dhakshinamoorthy and Narayanan Vaidyanathan join as senior relationship managers covering the non-resident Indian (NRI) market. Dhakshinamoorthy and Vaidyanathan previously worked at CA Indosuez Switzerland and BNP Paribas, respectively.
By the end of 2025, Bank of Singapore aims to house 500 relationship managers. It has seen around a 10 percent increase in its Singapore office in 2024.
