Hong Kong-based Chartwell Capital has formed a strategic partnership with a Tokyo-headquartered investment manager.

Chartwell Capital has formed a strategic partnership with SPARX Asia Investment Advisors – the Hong Kong arm of Tokyo-headquartered SPARX Group – according to a statement. The two will work closely on «expanding their client bases and investment prospects».

Founded in 2007, Chartwell Capital is an independent Hong Kong-based investment firm that serves clients such as endowment and pension funds, charitable foundations, family offices and high net worth individuals. SPARX is a Japanese firm with 200 employees across offices in Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong overseeing $13.3 billion in assets under management, as of September 30.
