Singapore-based Maybank has launched its second lifestyle branch in the city-state.

Maybank Singapore has launched a lifestyle branch – MSpace@Maybank Tower – according to a statement.

Its design is based on the motif of wau, a traditional Malaysian kite, which is featured as a foundation for the bank’s lobby. The space also includes homegrown cafe Joe & Dough with brewed coffee and handcrafted bakes, custom-made cloud pendant lights conceptualized by Japanese specialist Yusuke Hattori, as well as a moss wall, pop-up plants and wood elements as part of the biophilic theme.

Transforming Customer Experience

MSpace@Maybank Tower is the Malaysian lender’s second lifestyle branch following the 2018 launch of Maybank MSpace@Orchard. According to the bank, it is part of ongoing efforts to «innovate and transform customer experience across all touchpoints».

«MSpace@Maybank Tower serves as a community space for meaningful engagements with customers. As we believe that banking goes beyond transactions, we have reimagined this space to transform our banking services on all fronts to be more responsive, engaging and highly personable to elevate our customer experience,» said Alvin Lee, country CEO of Maybank Singapore.

Humanizing Financial Services

«We highly value relationship building, and this is reflected in our mission of Humanizing Financial Services. We will continue to innovate, lead and enhance the customer experience of today and tomorrow, and create meaningful shared experiences with them.»
