Singapore’s first licensed cryptocurrency exchange for all investors has established a new office in the city-state.
Independent Reserve (IR) has officially opened a new office in Singapore, according to a statement. Located in the city-state’s central business district, the office is based on the theme of «Connection, Collaboration, Conviction».
«IR's new open-design office environment inspires creativity, collaboration and a constant exchange of ideas, laying the foundation for its continued success. More than just an office, the new space is designed to foster IR’s culture of mateship, and pursuit of excellence while doing things the right way,» the firm said.
Recent and Future Developments
Since its inception in Singapore in 2019 as the city-state’s first licensed cryptocurrency exchange for all investors, IR has been steadily developing various strategic initiatives. This includes the enhancement of digital asset security and custody solutions with Fireblocks, advancing custodial services with DBS and the promotion of best practices with the Association of Cryptocurrency Enterprises and Startups Singapore (ACCESS).
In 2025 and beyond, the firm will focus on scaling its operations in Singapore. It will also explore new markets in the region «where regulatory frameworks are evolving to support the Web3 and digital assets industry».
«Asia is a dynamic, thriving region that presents immense potential both in the short term and for future growth,» commented Lasanka Perera, CEO of Independent Reserve Singapore. «As we continue to build our suite of offerings and grow the business from Singapore, our new office will be a central hub for driving our expansion in this part of the world.»
